Stephania Farrugia Frantz started learning the piano at the age of 7. She continued her piano studies and Theory of Music with Tania Craus, Loranne Debono and Ray Sciberras. In 2002 she graduated in Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Sociology from the University of Malta. At University she also studied Music with the late Prof Joseph Vella, Prof Dion Buhagiar and Dr John Galea. She took part in masterclasses with Nicholas Mulroy and Riccardo Bianchi.
Farrugia Frantz started singing lessons at the age of 15 with Marie Therese Vassallo and was a member of a number of established choirs. She took part in various opera choruses such as La Traviata, The Magic Flute, Madame Butterfly, L’ Amico Fritz and Werther. She also sang in a number of national concerts with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. Moreover, she is the administrator of Coro Bel Canto and is a member of Kor Malta. Stephania Farrugia Frantz is currently reading a Master in Primary Education.
